Starting a revolution with technology

(CNN) — Political revolutions in Egypt and Tunisia not only inspired other regional uprisings
— they sparked a flurry of ideas about how to help revolutionaries better communicate when
their governments pull the plug on the World Wide Web.

Shervin Pishevar, founder of Social Gaming Network (SGN), has a plan to give freedom-seeking
individuals the ability to link up and form their own life raft to “make what no government can ever block.”

“I want to use technology to bring freedom to the Mideast,” says Pishevar, one of 10 members
of Ted Turner’s U.N. Foundation’s Global Entrepreneurs Council.
